OUR TRAINING SERVICES
Training is the backbone of Dog University Where Dogs & Owners Go To School!
Because of the range of issues that we see in the dogs that come to us, from general manners to more serious aggression, our training services do not have a set curriculum and are instead tailored to the specific needs of your dog.
We don’t believe in a one-size-fits-all method to training, and understand that every dog is unique and learns differently, just like us humans. We’re committed to providing every dog that comes to us with the tools to live a safe, healthy and fulfilling life, so feel free to give us a call and schedule a behavioral evaluation to get the ball rolling!

Private Lesson at Dog U Campus
Experience tailored, one-on-one training sessions with our expert trainers at the Dog U campus. This option provides a controlled environment for addressing specific issues and enhancing your pup's training journey.
Private Lesson Off-Site
This option is perfect for addressing behavioral issues specific to your pup's surroundings plus an additional mileage fee for locations greater than five miles from Dog U (according to Google Maps fastest route).

Group Classes
With a variety of courses offered at Dog U, you’re sure to find something for you & your dog to enjoy! Check out the Calendar to see when classes are scheduled! All classes are 4 weeks & cost $180 per dog. Only one dog per handler, please! (must be 16 years of age or older).

Vaccination Requirements for Dogs at Dog U
- Current Rabies Vaccine
- Current DHPP (Distemper) Vaccine
- Bordetella Vaccine within the last 6 months (we require the Bordetella/kennel cough vaccine more frequently than most veterinary offices due to the American Veterinary Medical Associations recommendation for dogs that are boarded due to the large number of dogs that visit us for boarding, daycare, & training)
- Negative Fecal Test within the last 6 months (we require tests for intestinal parasites more frequently than your veterinarian might due to the large number of dogs that visit us for boarding, daycare, & training)
- Spayed/neutered! Any dog over the age of 6 months must be spayed or neutered to stay for daycare/boarding/training
