How Much Does Boarding & Training Cost?
One of our most popular training options! Your dog will get to stay at Dog University and work with us one on one. They will have their own crate for mealtime, relaxing, and sleeping overnight.
Dogs will be able to build social skills, spending their free time in our daycare playgroup, and our boarding school programs also include field trips where your dog may go out to pet stores, Great Falls Park, Reston Town Center, or other areas near Dog University for off-site training to test their skills.
REQUIREMENTS
Our Dog Boarding Requirements
To ensure the health and safety of all the dogs in our facility, we require these things for all dogs joining us for boarding:
- Current Rabies Vaccine
- Current DHPP (Distemper) Vaccine
- Bordetella Vaccine within the last 6 months - we require the Bordetella/kennel cough vaccine more frequently than most veterinary offices due to the American Veterinary Medical Associations recommendation for dogs that are boarded due to the large number of dogs that visit us for boarding, daycare, & training
- Negative FecalTest within the last 6 months - we require tests for intestinal parasites more frequently than your veterinarian might due to the large number of dogs that visit us for boarding, daycare, & training
- Spayed/neutered - Any dog over the age of 6 months must be spayed or neutered to stay for daycare/boarding/training
